NATIONAL SYSTEM OF OCCUPATIONS – YOUR PARTNER IN THE LABOUR MARKET
National System of Occupations (NSP) is defined by Act no. 5/2004
Coll. on employment services as the national unified information system of
description of the standard labor market requirements for particular jobs.
NSP determine the requirements for professional skills and practical
experience necessary for performing work activities in the labor market. Its
center will become a register of employment composed of national
occupational standards that describe the requirements imposed by employers
on qualified job performance.
Basis for the preparation and implementation
of the NSP consists of sector councils for different sectors of the economy.
The Sectoral Council for chemistry and pharmacy is operated by eight
specialists from member organizations of ZCHFP SR.

Project NSP is implemented by Learning Center Ministry of Labour, Sicial
Affair and Family of the Slovak Republic with support from the European
Social Fund under the Operational Programme Employment and Social Inclusion.
Project duration: July 2009 – June 2012.
Projekt partners: Federation of Employers‘ associations of the
Slovak Republic (AZZZ SR), National Union of Employers (RUZ), Confederation
of the Trade Unions of Slovak Republic (KOZ), Trexima.
